Rutstroemia firma (Pers.) Karst. Cup 0.5–1.5cm across, cup-shaped expanding flattened and wavy, attached by a short stalk 2–3mm long, inner surface ochraceous brown, outer similarly coloured and becoming wrinkled. Asci 150 x 8µ. Spores narrowly elliptical, 14–19 x 4–6.5µ. Habitat on fallen oak branches. Season autumn to early winter. Occasional. Not edible. Found In Europe.
